Barclays Center, which opened on September 28, 2012, offers 17,732 seats for basketball, 15,795 for hockey, and up to 19,000 seats for concerts, and has 101 luxury suites, four bars/lounges, four clubs, and 40/40 CLUB & Restaurant by American Express. You will also find plenty of concession stands where you can sample many of Brooklyn cuisines at such places as; Thomas’ Greek Kitchen, Williamsburg Pizza, Nathans’s, Paisanos Burger, Carla Hall’s Southern Kitchen and Habana to name a few. The Center also provides wheelchair and companion seating with appropriate sight lines on all levels. Animals are not allowed in Barclays Center, however, an exception is made for patrons with service animals(must contact Guest Service Department if any accommodations are required). For transportation needs, Barclays Center is located on top of one of the largest transit hubs in New York. Public transit is the fastest, most convenient way to travel here.
