The UFC returns to the greater Los Angeles era for what could be the demise of the men’s flyweight division. After a close victory over longtime champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, the new Flyweight champion and former Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo will make his first title defense against the current Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw. This fight could be the end of the mens flyweight division for fighters 125lbs and below as Dillashaw will be coming down a weight class to attempt to be the third man to be champion in two different weight classes simultaneously – something that only Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier have succeeded in doing. Additionally the co-main event will feature fan favorite and former champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler as he welcomes Ben Askren to the UFC making his long awaited debut after being traded for Demetrious Johnson. Between being in LA over the winter and seeing exciting UFC action, UFC 233 is sure to be a great time for any MMA fan!
